Welcome to the lappy

I'm sittin on my couch typing this from our new laptop. Nate has named him Zeromus but I just call him Lappy. I'm finally getting a chance to set up my account on here as Nate has gone to bed. He showed me how to break everything down and put him away and everything. So on the news front from me, I'm going to North Carolina onFriday to say goodbye to my grandfather. It's gonna be a HORRIBLE day for me. That's right, I said Day. I don't think I could be there for more than one day. We're going to my sister's on Saturday. I stopped by work today to let Gaby know that I will not be there on Friday and why. Unfortunately, being a licensed counselor or whatever, she asked me if I wanted to talk about it. Actually, no, I don't want to talk about it. Especially to her. If ANYONE is gonna hear me talk about it, it's gonna be Nate. He's coming with me to NC this weekend and while that feels awkward, I think I should still let him in. I'm so used to handling things on my own emotionally. *sighs* Nate's problem is that he tries to make me feel better or try to solve the problem that I'm having. I don't need it solved, I just need someone to shut up and listen.
Sephycat is back from the vet. $250 later, he's still bleeding. Not as bad but it's still there. As I suspected, it's just a recurrance of his previous problem. Doc said it was probably alot less painful for him this time because of the surgery we did for him. He's spotted a bit on the NEW bedsheets we put on the bed. I managed to get it out. I scooped the litter box and there was a lil lump on blood on top of where he peed. Ugh. Nate neglected to get his prescription food when he picked them up so I have to go do that tomorrow. Reuben is naturally being a dick to Sephy. The Hudge is curious about why he smells different but isn't being aggressive. In fact, I think she's found a new friend in Lappy. She's sitting beside me on the couch right now and like petting my arm.

I'm diggin Lappy tho. Got him today. Naturally, Nate spent most of the night with him. I got him after Nate went to bed. Luckily, it's a Windows only box so I don't have to deal with Linux and I don't have to ask Nate many questions on how to do stuff. Looks like Lexy is angry at the ending of Half Blood Prince. I dunno what she's barkin at. It makes perfect sense to me. Anywoot, that's pretty much all I have to say tonight. Only 20 days left till GREAT BIG SEA! WOO!
